Happy 65th, Boy George! 🎶 What's one of your favorite Culture Club or Boy George solo songs? 🎶 Born George Alan O'Dowd, on June 14, 1961, a singer, songwriter, DJ, and author, he formed the new wave band, Culture Club with Roy Hay, Mikey Craig, and Jon Moss in 1981. During their decades long career, Culture Club has released 6 studio albums, and as a soloist, George has released 9 studio albums. Culture Club's 1982 debut album, Kissing to Be Clever, was the 1st debut album to have three Top 10 hits in the US since the Beatles. Released in 1983, the song "Time (Clock of the Heart)" is included on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of 500 songs that shaped rock and roll.
