When I entered the transfer portal for the first time, I had no idea what I was doing.
Like most players, I thought recruiting was simple:
Play well → coaches find you.
What I learned after transferring from USD → Northwestern → Louisville was that recruiting is about much more than stats.
It's relationships.
It's communication.
It's telling your story.
It's finding the right fit.
Along the way, I entered the portal twice, connected with hundreds of coaches, received 50 Division I opportunities, and learned lessons I wish someone had taught me years earlier.
That's why I'm starting this.
Not to sell dreams.
Not to make promises.
Just to help players navigate one of the most uncertain and important decisions of their baseball careers.
If you're entering the portal this offseason and want guidance from someone who's been through it, my DMs are open.
