Fable isn't even that magical as people in X larp about. Unless you are making some "one-shot" 3D web demo. It is basically Opus 4.8

Every Demo I have seen of Fable is some bullshit 3JS Web Demo. Nothing useful in real life

There is nothing Fable can do, that you can't do with Opus 4.8 No one is gonna "One-shot" some random 3d website in a real world use case. In reality, everything worth building is incremental.

How Anthropic has been moving lately

Never pay an AI subscription for more than a month. Best subscription changes every month

Anthropic is quietly charging you every time you get distracted at your laptop. The default Claude Code cache expires in 5 minutes. Slack ping, scroll, someone walks in — your context dies and gets re-processed next message. 12 cold starts × $0.75 = $9 a day burned. Run 4 sessions in parallel — real operator setup — and every tab you are not typing in is aging out. 30 cold starts a day is normal. 30 × $0.75 = $22.50 a day. $450 a month. Gone. There is a 1-hour cache. They just don't turn it on for you. ENABLE_PROMPT_CACHING_1H=1 Same 4-session day now costs ~$10. If you are paying for Claude Code and have never touched this flag, you are subsidising a pricing model built around the way you don't actually work.

Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors. Available today at the same price.

These YouTubers are all lying to you. No @claudeai skill can run your end-to-end workflow. If you let AI write every post, you become another AI slop generator on the timeline. You always have to stay in the loop. The judgment, the taste, the calls about what is actually worth saying. That part stays human. Use AI to expand what you can do. Not to replace the part people follow you for. Full breakdown in the first comment

I run 3 digital businesses with Claude Code. Content, audits, client work. One folder per business. One person. Check out the article on how below. x.com/TheOperatorPro/status/…

Small-time VFX / Video Editing freelancers are cooked. Watch what Omni does in this demo - makes a TV transparent - flickers the room lights - spawns a live animal at his feet - swaps the object in his hand for anything else - fills an empty bottle with water - changes the material of the bottle All inside an existing clip. All from a prompt. That is the entire job description of a roto/paint freelancer on Fiverr. Screen replacement, object swaps, color changes, product inserts. Gone. Taste is the only remaining moat. Cursor team really did deliver this time around. When directed and guided correctly, Composer 2.5 performs surprisingly well. Follows instructions correctly and extremely cheap. The Perfect Junior Developer.

Anthropic "accidentally" showed Mythos in the Claude UI. Then "accidentally" leaked the blog, then told Fortune it's too dangerous to release. This is the GPT o1 playbook in a different costume. Codename, leak, step-change claim, gated preview Project Glasswing, 40 partners, no API. You're not supposed to use the product. Rather be amazed and wonder what it is like. They'll market the locked model and sell you the watered-down one.
