A reminder that the PPL AGM for members takes place next Saturday (15th Feb) at 1pm. After the AGM, there will be a short talk on the Devon and Exeter Institution by Librarian, Sonia LLewellyn. The library will be open from 10.30am as normal that day. #devonandexeterinstitution

The next PPL talk is "A Second Look at Plymouth Shops" on Wed 26th Feb at 2pm. £4 for members. £8 for non-members. A similar talk last year was incredibly popular. To guarantee a seat, contact the library at least 24 hours before the event. Otherwise, simply turn up on the day.

Many thanks to Script-in-Hand Theatre for their powerful performance yesterday at the PPL in front of a full-capacity audience. For those that missed it, there will be a performance at the Unitarian church this afternoon (see poster below).

A reminder that tomorrow (Sat 1st Feb at 2pm), the play “Matthew 22:39” - will explore the theme "Who is my Neighbour?" in the city. A free performance. There will be the opportunity to give a retiring donation to Plymouth charities working with the vulnerable, needy & lonely.
