Iran negotraitors don't know how to play deterrence. Or never intended to. Iran was back at playing de-escalate while US keeps escalating. Iran has been avoiding hiting Saudi or UAE. It has been ignoring US operations in Hormuz while US was hiting more ships exiting from Iran.

The only reason the 'war stopped' was because Iran could retaliate with long term destruction of oil production capabilities. The increasingly limited blockade of the Hormuz doesn't have such deterrence effect. The stupid games can continue but won't end in any kind of agreement.

Are we supposed to pretend there is a still ceasefire in the Persian Gulf? Iran takes hits and responds in a mild proportional way. That won't stop more attacks. And the situation on ships and oil/gas transit has become very murky.

The Huawei paper actually explains their route without EUV machines. They seems to have started aggressively with hybrid bonding logic die stacking for the Kirin 2026 version. They plan to do more aggressive hybrid bonding and die stacking in the future.

I wonder why. May be it doesn't makes sense without EUV? Are stacked transistors (GAA or future CFETs) with larger dimensions worse than FinFET? There are other technology bottlenecks, tools that China can't fabricate?
