Today on The Mom View we met with Denise Daniels is the director of The Moodsters Children’s Foundation and Brandy Meeks, President of the
@VitaeFoundation . Both shared powerful perspectives on the important work they are leading and their mission to positively impact millions of lives.
Denise explained that parents shouldn’t assume they know what their children are feeling—instead, they should take the time to ask. Children process grief and emotions differently than adults, making it essential for parents to stay attentive and ensure their children feel seen, heard, and understood. To support this, Denise created The Moodsters, a group of “emotion detectives” designed to help children explore and understand their feelings.
Brandy shared her experience working within the pro-life movement and spoke about the challenges many individuals face, including feelings of isolation and lack of support. Through the Vitae Foundation, she focuses on equipping key influencers—such as pastors, churches, and Christian counselors—with the knowledge and resources they need. Their mission is to ensure women feel truly seen, supported, and cared for, no matter their circumstances.
Parents—especially mothers—carry a significant responsibility in raising their children. It’s important to be confident in that role and to seek out the knowledge, tools, and support needed for the journey that matters most.
