Live cattle continue to reach unprecedented highs, $10/lb for 300lb steer calves. I am assuming buyers have their downside risk covered. Chances are beef prices at retail will continue to climb. 850 to 900 wt yearling steers are $1300/hd over last year at this time. #beef
