I know there have been a lot of fun (ridiculous?🤷🏻♂️😉😂) posts as we prepare for the arrival of the new album. But I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU. Truth is, I had this overwhelming, "Does anyone still care?" feeling going into the announcement of this album. So, it feels REALLY GOOD to be able to answer that question with, "YES! They do!". Ok, so where do we currently stand? (a few folks have asked) Streaming numbers are holding strong-ish (dipping a little, but this is to be expected at this point). UK Stores have had to reorder, twice... after selling out of CDs, which is a GREAT sign. Looks like I'm going to have 4 SINGLES off of this album that will go to radio, which is CRAZY! I've never had tha many! Several folks have also asked what they can currently do (thank you for asking!) and the truth is: Just make sure you presave the album, and stream "Dreaming Screaming" as much as possible. Add it to a playlist with 2 songs, enable "repeat all" and let them play over and over. That's what helps the most right now. Can't believe we're only 3 weeks away! Just L👀K at it! 😍 I genuinely could not love it more. So proud of how the vinyl turned out. SO excited for those of you who will be getting your hands on the white vinyl. I don’t know how many people actually read the text on a post like this, but for those of you who do, here’s a question for you: Should I tour again? I’m seriously considering it. If this album does what I hope it does, I want to get back out there… but it’s BRUTAL these days. House parties? Small venues? What do YOU think?

7 yrs old? Happy Birthday to this beauty! Not only was “This Is The Sound” my first album with Wicked Cool Records, it won the 2019 I.M.A (Independent Music Award) for Album Of The Year! 🏆 This album was a total life/game changer. I am forever proud of it. If I could go back and change one thing, I wouldn’t change the artist/band name. Not because it’s not cool (because it is) but because it unexpectedly screwed up all my streaming stats, info etc… I always thought it would be cool to change/rotate the band name: Ryan Hamilton & The ____________ . Like Elvis Costello did with The Attractions, The Imposters, The Sugarcanes etc… But, unfortunately, in today’s streaming world, all it did was create multiple online streaming profiles, & confused everything. My first album: Ryan Hamilton. Second album: Ryan Hamilton & The Traitors. Third album: Ryan Hamilton & The Harlequin Ghosts. Out in the world like 3 TOTALLY DIFFERENT BANDS 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂 Oh well. Lesson learned! What really matters is the music, right? HAPPY BIRTHDAY to THIS IS THE SOUND! Or as my UK friends love to refer to it as …….. Actually, I better not type that, or this post will get flagged 🤷🏻♂️🇬🇧🤘🏻😂🥳

A few folks have asked if we ever reached that magic 30, for Dreaming Screaming's popularity score. WE DID NOT. Sorry. It's still sitting at 29, which seems crazy to me. BUT... it just surpassed 10,000 streams, so maybe that will help? Not sure. Reaching that magical number of 30 seems to be damn near impossible. #spotifymusic #musicbusiness

Starting next week there is going to be a daily barrage of posts in relation to the New Album. Why? Because we will be 1 month away and I HAVE TO FEEL LIKE I DID EVERYTHING I COULD. Sorry for yelling😉😂
Not only that, there is a really fun promo plan that I'm excited to roll out. You may have seen some of the early reviews for the new album. So far, every review mentions this new album being the best thing I've ever done. Which, of course, feels AMAZING. Everyone involved (label, mgmt etc…) is excited. It also makes me more determined than ever.
So, what can you do?
First: you can give me a little grace. Because there are going to be A LOT of social media posts.😂 You can KEEP STREAMING "Dreaming Screaming". Even better, add it to a playlist.
If you haven't presaved or preordered "Haunted By American Dreams" DO THAT. The earlier the better. UK stores have already had to reorder because they sold out of CDs almost immediately. That's a GOOD SIGN.
