Early this week, we held our first Community Conversation in Columbia, where residents came together to discuss some of the top issues facing the state, including growth, roads, and infrastructure, responsiveness of elected officials, rising cost of living, and slow wage growth and opportunities. With more Community Conversations planned in Greenville and Charleston, as well as online conversations open to anyone in the state, we are just getting started!

Last night was our first Community Conversation event in South Carolina, where more than 50 residents from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs came together to tackle some of the biggest issues facing our state and come up with solutions to move the Palmetto State forward together.

From the Upstate to the PeeDee, from conservatives to liberals, from small towns to growing cities, more than 45,000 South Carolinians raised their voices and told us what needs fixing. And when the votes were counted, something remarkable happened: we agreed.
