As an in-camera approach, PlateLight provides filmmakers with the ability to control on-set lighting after the film has been captured, while maintaining the integrity of a real performance and real lighting, in the face of a movement towards artificial filmmaking approaches.

Really neat story about the elaborate lighting/camera/editorial system used for a scene in “Thor: Love and Thunder”, a setup which is hard to visualize. Imagine an incredibly controlled strobe light system, virtually invisible to the naked eye, shot at 576 frames per second.
