I witnessed one of the craziest hands I've ever seen in today's Mystery Millions Bounty event.
As the dealer is pitching everyone's hole cards, she accidentally flips over the A♠️, which would've been Joe McGowan's card. She gives him a replacement and finishes dealing.
Action folds to Joe in the HJ and he opens to 1,500 (blinds were 300-500 | 500). I fold, then Brynjar "Eli" Gigja (
@StakeKings' Director of Development) calls. Sb also calls, and they go three ways to a 444 flop.
SB checks, Joe bets 3k, Eli calls, SB folds.
The turn is a ten and Joe bets 7k. Eli tanks for a minute and calls. The river is an ace, so the board is now 4 4 4 T A. Joe bets 10k. Eli shoves for 31k and Joe snaps. Eli shows 64dd for quad fours.... Joe tables two red aces.
The guy lost an ace to a dealer error... got dealt aces anyway... rivered the case ace.... and lost to quads. 🤯
And maybe the best part? Eli was completely unaware the A♠️ flashed preflop and only found out after chatting with
@pokerorg during the break. Link to his reaction in the comments below ⬇️
