Aegirocassis was a gentle filter feeder from the Ordovician, still I don't think they'd reject a tasty, tasty veggie burger. And they were giants, up to 2 meters long, so they probably had very few predators when fully grown.

Back in 1968, researcher Frederick Holiday proposed a wild new theory: Nessie was a giant mollusk; a slug-like invertebrate. Naturalist Oberon Zell later championed this bizarre biological concept, and his original illustration served as the inspiration for this toy design.

Dunkleosteus is by far the most famous placoderm fish ever; a true Devonian celebrity that would make an awesome bath toy. I like its modern shark-like shape, but I prefer the older, more eel-like reconstructions, so that’s how I’ll model version 2.0 at a later date.

Ichthyotitan is currently the largest known prehistoric marine organism, reaching up to 82 feet (25 meters) in length. I gave him a rotund, chonky body inspired by Shonisaurus, but in reality, the actual animal may have been more slender; there are too few fossil remains to tell.

Plotosaurus was a highly specialized pelagic mosasaur from the Late Cretaceous that resembled ichthyosaurs and dolphins in body shape due to convergent evolution. Its body was adapted for sustained, powerful swimming so it's perfect as a bath toy.

Cephalaspis was a jawless, armored freshwater fish from the Early Devonian. It fed along the bottom, stirring up mud and sand like a vacuum cleaner... I bet it even made those sucking noises. 😂 #ToyDesign #Devonian #ChaosCorona #Fish #Toy #Cephalaspis

Guitarfish look like nature couldn’t decide between a shark and a ray, so it just mashed them together to make this guy. Work projects have been relentless lately, so I’ve had almost no time to make fun stuff.😓 #Toydesign #Fish #Sea #ChaosCorona #Shark #Ray

Benjamin Waterhouse -the victorian artist that designed those highly innacurate dinos in London's Crystal Palace- made an Ichthyosaur that I have always liked because it looks more like a Tylosaurus. I'm adding his original illustration. #ToyDesign #PaleoArt #Ichthyosaur #Toy

Falcatus is a proto-shark (well, proto-chimaera) from the Carboniferous that had this interesting bony structure projecting forward over its head that looked like a fish hook. I think it could be a fun rotocasted toy. #Toydesign #Shark #Carboniferous #Paleoart #Toy

Giant mantas are one of the greatest character designs nature has produced; they're pure grace and personality. I also like those pictures that show a couple of remoras hitching a ride on them, Uber-like. 😁 #ToyDesign #MantaRay #ChaosCorona #Fish #Ocean #ArtToy

I've wanted to design a tardigrade for quite a while, so it felt perfect to make one my first toy of 2026. They have that creepy-cute vibe I adore, and their chonkiness totally reminds me of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen #ToyDesign #Harkonnen #ArtToy #Tardigrade #ChaosCorona

This is a recently described Chilean prehistoric sawshark, named after Pochita, for obvious reasons. It's nice to know science still lets itself be playful every now and then. #Shark #Pochita #Toydesign #Fish #Sawshark #ChaosCorona

Still here, just very busy with my dad's projects at the moment. This is the 2.0 version of my eurypterid; I think I’ve finally nailed down the direction I want to follow with my Paleozoic toys regarding the abstraction. #paleoart #sciart #designertoy #prehistoric #fossil"

Arganodus is a freshwater lungfish from the Triassic, I chose to make him colorful instead of drab, as most lungfish are. #Toydesign #Fish #Arganodus #ChaosCorona

Relict populations of Dorudon and Basilosaurus are my likely candidates for ancient sea monster sightings, as their depictions resemble creatures found in historical navigation charts and maps. #Toydesign #Dorudon #ChaosCorona #Eocene #PaleoArt #Toy

This item would be an excellent addition to a natural history museum's gift shop. Also remember: Sacabambaspis loves and believes in you!🤗 #Toydesign #ChaosCorona #Sacabambaspis #Fish

I’m totally into Japanese toys from the ‘70 so I emulated the cool shapes and flashy lights of that era. The cockpit’s my favorite part—just a big, simple button you press to turn the lights on or off. The alien pilot will be reused later. #ToyDesign #ChaosCorona #UFO #Alien

Not quite a shark nor truly "rainbow," but its dark body and vibrant red fins create a striking contrast. It's one of my favorite freshwater aquarium fish. The apple snail and toy aquarium plant are nice accesories. #Toydesign #Fish #Rainbow #ChaosCorona

I based the skin pattern on various Angelfish species, but I made sure it complemented the shapes and was appealing to kids, generally speaking. theveryfish.com/3d-models/An… I like the end result, I think it's cute and friendly. 😁 #Toydesign #Fish #Angelfish #ChaosCorona #Koru
