Affogatos teach you that life is to be celebrated. The sweetness of ice cream pairs perfectly with the vitality of espresso. Leaves you tastefully buzzed. It's one of those desserts that elevate the human experience.

Only in learning to cook for yourself do you realize how incredibly average and predatory most restaraunts are. Their objective is not to nourish you. Most of them aren’t serving you high quality anything. Their primary objective is to keep you coming back for as cheap as humanly possible. When you become a culinary weapon, you start cooking and eating for what feels like a reason. The food actually tastes good and you wonder how you thought that old restaurant was so good. Your meals feel nourishing. They are catered to your goals and preferences. They can be customized around your unique circumstances. Rich/poor, healthy/unhealthy, it doesn’t matter. Everyone on earth can and should be making dinner most of the time. If you think endless chipotle bowls is the answer your life will do a complete 180 when you start doing the same same thing at home.

Worrying about damaging material items enslaves you. You have to USE them. Scuff the watch. Use the Mont Blanc everyday. Wear your beautiful loafers. Stop saving things for a specific occasion. It might never come. You have to treat these things as what they are - tools to improve your experience of life itself.

Placebo is real. Every little thing you think in your head has more of a tangible impact than you think. This is why CONSTANTLY worrying about every aspect of your health and nutrition 24/7 is actually unhealthy for you. The human body is more robust than you think.

Unpopular opinion: foods like this exist because there's a section of the population who want them and that's OKAY. Whenever there's demand, supply will follow. Outside of things with disastrous societal consequences like hard drugs, I'm a firm believer we shouldn't regulate everything. Sure, you can ban sugarmaxx slop foods but what's next? What if the next administration starts to ban beef because of cow farts? What then? No need to start a precedent. We should let consumers choose what they want to eat even if we would never put things like this in our mouths. This is also why we've always focused on highlighting the good in the world. It's very easy to pile on foods that are bad for you and create conversation there. What about what's GOOD? How we can literally piece together ingredients on God's beautiful planet to create food that's nourishing AND incredibly tasty. Never doom. Never forget how blessed we are.
Crumbl needs to be stopped. Their new "dirty soda" contains 186 grams of sugar, the equivalent of eating 19 Krispy Kreme donuts. This is a metabolic disaster and should be illegal. Please do not drink this.

Worrying is a low aura activity. Instead of thinking of beautiful ideas to bring into the world, you're thinking of imaginary ways everything could go wrong. Worry is the misuse of imagination.

Btw all burgers are sandwiches but not all sandwiches are burgers and I don't think burgers should be featured here
We need to rethink how we view sandwiches. They shouldn’t be a guilty pleasure. When you make a sandwich with the right ingredients, it can absolutely become a health food you can have everyday. Use good quality sourdough. Fresh burrata. Build your sandwich with real meat. Nothing processed. Sauces made from scratch. No seed oils. Fresh greens. The right ratios. You can enjoy a sandwich everyday, guilt-free. The sandwich is a health food.

You'll find your greatest ideas in deep leisure. Not when you're forcing yourself sat at your desk all day. Not when you're sacrificing sleep for two more hours of "productivity". The best ideas find you when you've completely disconnected from work. After a set of tennis on a beautiful day. In the middle of an afternoon walk. Even during a warm shower. When your mind is just gracefully wandering. You're not scrolling. You're not working. You're just present. And it makes sense when you think about it. How are you going to receive ideas if your hands are always full? The only rule is you must act immediately. You have to bring that thought into the world with verve and a ferocity never seen before. Or you risk losing it forever.
