Although probably unlikely, this would be a ridiculous signing for next season.
Youβd imagine heβd get more lucrative offers elsewhere, but if possible Iβd absolutely make this happen.
#wwfc | Last word on Edwards
Itβs fair to say I got the clarity I was after (tweet below) but only time will tell if parting company with Rob was the right call.
I have sympathy with how it was handled but not the decision itself because letβs face it, it has been miserable.
After returning from the long break Wolves were abysmally unadventurous and set up for damage limitation football in pressure free games, which was totally unnecessary and really hard to understand.
On top of that fans were force fed comments about how much everyone cared and how hard they were trying, statements that simply did not match what we were seeing on the pitch and words that only further antagonised a frustrated fanbase.
Hoofed balls to Armstrong, long loyal spells to players clearly not up to it and no identity or familiar playing patterns. At the end it was as bad as when he first took over.
Nobody was keeping us up in that situation, but during the run in it felt like Rob was failing his audition and fans began to turn.
The incoming appointment points to Wolves sliding back into a familiar relationship with Gestifute, something that probably would have been unworkable with Edwards in charge.
Ultimately we all went the best for the club and as much as tough decisions have to be made, this situation doesnβt exactly scream organised with a plan.
Up the Wolves.
#wwfc | We Need Clarity On Edwards
If the custodians at Wolves are 100% sure Rob Edwards is the guy to take us back up, they need to make a statement like West Ham have with Nuno.
Rob is splitting the fanbase and creating uncertainty. A clear show of support would let us all know where we stand.
We need a clear pathway forward, right now it doesnβt feel like we have one.
Wolves are devastated to learn of the passing of our former manager Kenny Jackett.
Kenny led the club to its incredible record-breaking League One title and laid the foundations for the club as we know it today.
The thoughts of everyone at Wolves are with Kennyβs family and friends at this time π

#wwfc | Positive vibes
Without a ball being kicked, this has been one of the most positive weeks as a Wolves fan for as long as I can remember.
Itβs early days but serious foundations are being laid for the coming season.
Up the Wolves.
