Mission Statement: To define a robust set of standards for professional cattle foot trimming & ensure members achieve these through a rigorous auditing process
On 18th Oct 2021 I submitted a grievance about staff safety, my safety, and that impacting patient safety.
9 days later a baby died.
The same baby I’m being implicated as being responsible for killing.
Coincidence? Set up? Cover up?
Time will tell.

Great time spent over the last 24hrs at @The_CHCSB AGM and conference.
Enjoyed sharing my thoughts about client engagement and motivation and challenging the audience on “What makes you YOU” as well as creating teams to improve cow outcomes.
Some great discussions had.
Happy new year! 2023 has been a massive year for the CHCSB. Thank you to all of our members, trainers, associates and board members for all the hard work you’ve put in. And we look forward to an even busier and better year in 2024!

For our second speaker to be announced, we are delighted to be able to welcome Miriam Parker MBE to the conference!!
Her session will look at some key elements of cattle behaviour and how handlers might impact what cattle may, or may not(!), do.
All of us at the CHCSB would like to say.a big thank you to our platinum conference sponsor, Hoof Shop. Not only keep our hard working trimmers supplied with all the equipment they need, they’ve also been incredible for their generous support of our Conference!

Without a farmer you’d be hungry, naked and sober. Without someone buying British produce we farmers would be bankrupt, homeless and unable to do the jobs we love.
#backbritishfarming is a 2 way relationship, and support has to be earned not expected or demanded.
🗣️ @thisfarmlife: “As far as I’m concerned, without the public buying our goods, I’d be unemployed, homeless and bankrupt! We’ve all got to work together.”
Absolutely spot on. 👏🏽

We can barely do normal marketing let alone fake guerilla marketing to convince people to buy a drink that is about to no longer be a drink just in time for it to sell enough to keep being a drink.
Our head hurts just thinking about it.
Weather holding out nicely.
Now onto practical sessions building skills and confidence.
Range of crush styles available to demonstrate different working techniques based on cow position.
