- In the polar winter, you have max 20m to treat patients before hypothermia sets in
- Medical and extrication kit may not be suitable to cold temperatures damaging materials

For our first practical, the @LondonFire came down to the Garrod to show us all of the kit and resources that would respond to complicated extrications in a Fire and Rescue Unit (FRU). We had a great time trying on their PPE and breathable air packs!!
