"What I said to him yesterday evening after we came back from the announcement - I have to choose between three goalkeepers, Goss, Chaine and you. I have to choose two goalkeepers.
"When you look at the quality of those guys, I can't choose, because they have the same quality. So on what level you will choose then and for me it was the integration. We had only one good training and that was Tuesday, and that was it.
"I don't know Brandon as a human being. In those two days you can't know him, how will react if he doesn't play. How is his reaction in whatever.
"And that made me not choose Brandon. It's not a question of quality. It's just the integration."

Last night I went to bed with a heavy heart and chose to not say much about this Brandon snub. But he’s explanation today is one of the dumbest things I’ve heard from a coach in a while! Lame excuse!

That man worked his way up to be where he is now at Chiefs.
I think coaches must just be honest that they prefer to work with certain than to give us explanations that don’t make sense.

Two options:
1. Don’t call him at all when you know 2 days won’t be enough for you to know him.
2. Ask him if he is willing to be a 2nd or 3rd choice keeper & if he says no then drop him.

The number of defenders in this team stresses me out! I would have sacrificed one of the centre backs/right back for Lebo Maboe. I won’t mention names just to avoid clubbism. With that said, Broos knows why!

🚨Kaizer Chiefs New Coach Update
Kaizer Chiefs are close on competing the signing of two wingers who are based abroad. Lilepo is expected to open space, Lilepo who is expected to be sold. He is unlikely to stay at Kaizer Chiefs next season.
Pitso Mosimane has been offered 3years contract at Kaizer Chiefs. Sirino, set to leave KC once his contract ends. Xolani Cossa who is correctly on loan at Black Lions expected to return, and will be offered new contract.
Mfundo Vilakazi is expected to be handed the KC's jersey number 🔟 next season. Chiefs already close on midfielder based in KZN.
