Despite playing and enjoying Mario games my whole life, because of how the franchise handles story/worldbuilding, I’ve never been able to bond with the characters and world in a way that makes me consider myself a fan of the series at the same level I do with other game series.

Yeah after a week in bluer skies I don’t think I’ll be posting on Twitter anymore unless I have some kinda bombshell announcement. The huge difference in engagement I get there is insane.

My takeaway from the Game Freak leaks is that they’re literally burning money by not making a series of art books with concept art art and scrapped sprites from the creation of the games. People would eat that shit up. They ARE eating that shit up right now!

It took me 3 years on and off, but I finally completed the Repentance DLC and reclaimed the mantle of having 100% completed Binding of Isaac.
It's been a fantastic journey, and the amount of high quality content and depth stuffed into this expansion is still astounding to me.
