A message for my 2026 self, to others who may need, and perhaps to my future self.

A long-standing belief in the scientific community has been that HIV infects CD4 cells, and creates latency reservoirs. Well, that change some days ago as CD4 cells infected by HIV can be converted into CD8 cells, creating a secondary reservoir.

Given recent trends, I suspect many Long Covid patients experience the rollercoaster effect. Intervention (supplement/peptides) > improvement > some decline There is only one sustainable intervention that works. Exercise. This paper is likely one of the most helpful. 1/n

Exercise, especially Endurance Training, is one of the few modalities that universally improves mitochondrial health AND creates an increase in capillaries, which cascade into overall improvement. In my experience, rucking is the best form of this. With or without peptides.

It takes months of consistency. It will be extremely uncomfortable or miserable at first. You must add both nicotine at some time in the day and the following. Creatine - 10 GRAMS on an empty stomach, just some carbs with it, or 3 grams of sugar

Why ? Because the most ubiquitous immune cell related to long-term dysfunction in SARS-CoV-2 infection, Mast Cells also do it. They create DNA Extracellular Traps, more consequential than NETs. Integrating a lot of the past few months research into this takes time.
Turns out this research avenue, which I have been pursuing for 2 years, was more important than I previously thought. Because, unbeknownst to most people, multiple cells form extracellular traps. Some are a lot more consequential than others.

The almost exact pathway that activates Mast Cells in response to SARS-CoV-2 and its Spike Protein is the one that releases DETs. DETs act as antivirals, lowering infectivity at the cost of significant cytotoxicity. It kills a lot of cells around, especially ENDOTHELIAL.

"Intestinal neutrophil extracellular traps promote gut barrier damage exacerbating endotoxaemia, systemic inflammation and progression of diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetes" Oh the most enriched cell after SARS-CoV-2 infection, even mild ones. Fancy link.springer.com/article/10…

As a drastic pressure point, the Houthis have imposed a complete ban on Israeli ships in the Red Sea, which is almost exactly how they closed that strait for months, drastically affecting global maritime shipping. Hormuz was open back then. The timing... Interesting times ahead

Months ago, I wrote a long-form article on the Iran War and what it would cause. Plastic shortages. Drug shortages with a substantial increase in prices. Oil byproducts/derivatives shortages. These will last for months to a couple of years. Alas, these are like tears in rain.
Let me check the advanced missile-defense interceptors inventory after months of intermittent war with Iran that went nowhere. Oh. Exactly as many of us forecasted. Btw, there are pictures of some of the munitions, and the production date of the ones used recently is 2026.

Time to clean up my tabs. Which means I will dump random papers without proper order here. First, a important one. Natural Speech Analysis Can Reveal Individual Differences in Executive Function Across the Adult Lifespan pubs.asha.org/doi/10.1044/20…

"Our findings demonstrate that milk tryptophan content and availability decrease among WLWH, which may indicate perturbations in milk tryptophan catabolism." SARS-CoV-2 isn't HIV but many of the metabolic changes are similar, so this is intertesting. nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

This is mostly for myself so I keep track of a recent research avenue. If you don't recall, I have argued SARS-COV-2 gets IN the bone marrow. Not just damage to immune cells causing "stuff" to the bone marrow. Directly gets inside. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

One thing you will find out in data (from small to large) is that patients with neurodegeneration hardly get cancer, and vice versa. There are many explanations, such as the one below, but here is another one. Tumor-derived Cyst-C attenuates amyloid pathology of Alzheimers
Less NR4A1 = lower chances of cancer Low NR4A1 = higher cognitive decline Hard choices. Cancer or neurodegeneration... Hmmm alz-journals.onlinelibrary.w…

Ever wondered how birds (pigeons here) can navigate the entire planet to fly around even under poor conditions (like at night), or migrate ? Wonder no more. The macrophages in their livers can sense the Earth's magnetic field, basically. science.org/doi/10.1126/scie…

Unpredictable to who lmao ? Perhaps to doctors who speedrun immunology and molecular biology. Coronaviruses literally engage mast cells directly. Fragments or otherwise. "The unpredictable disease attacking women 5 times more than men — doctors only study it for ‘one minute’"

Who could have predict such an event ? Oh wait a minute.
The number of women under 40 developing Type 2 diabetes has risen by almost 50% over the past 6 years, with experts saying the surge could be down to a lack of follow-up care for those who develop the condition during pregnancy. Gestational Diabetes happens when women are unable to produce enough insulin while pregnant.
