Aug 10, 2019: Two Wisconsin teenagers water skied across Lake Michigan together making the 62-mile trek in 2.5 hours. Madelyn Hendrikse, 18, and Braden Dirkse, 17, each behind separate boats driven by their fathers, made the crossing to Silver Lake State Park in Michigan.

Lots of sand dunes on the Lake Michigan Lakeshore. Try to see Sleeping Bear or Silver Lake Dunes next time. You can rent sandy buggies and Jeeps. You can really take a tumble running down the dunes like that! 😉 Below Inspiration Point, Sleeping Bear Dunes, & Silver Lake Dunes.
