Relatable. I miss those days, though. It becomes a chauffeur and cash register when they’re older.

By switching from horses to unicorns, police officers of Serica are able to move at speeds of up to 90 kph and turn invisible at will. As the mounts can only be ridden by virgins, however, only three officers are currently assigned to the unicorn division.

Ever notice a “missing” floor on the elevator buttons? Due to a superstition around the “unlucky” number 13, many infrastructure designs will simply skip the 13th floor.

Huh. Interestingly, as I’m reading through Dante’s Commedia, I notice how musical it is, especially Purgatory. No doubt Virgil’s influence.
Virgil's Aeneid is all about music. It's all about songs. Following Pythagoras, and against Plato, Virgil is instructing in moral virtue and showing moral liability through the songs of the various characters: Aeneas, Dido, and Turnus. Music is the world, it also instructs.

Progress at last: this summer, Zeus has introduced three-minute hydration breaks for Sisyphus in the morning and afternoon as a welfare measure.

Reading Purgatorio and the notes for Canto XXXIII mention that there was a custom that a murderer could protect themselves from vengence by eating soup over the victim's grave for nine days, thus in 13th century Florence people would stand guard over murder victim graves.
