✨ Ella Podmore MBE (materials engineer) received the Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in Materials award from the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining.
🏛️ James Dornor (systems engineer and CEO of Driven By Us) attended the Black History Month reception at 10 Downing Street.
🏆 Alice Goodwin (mechanical & avionic system engineer) was named a 2025 Top 50 Women in Engineering awardee by the Women’s Engineering Society.
📍Four role models took to the stage to share their career path at New Scientist Live; Sophie Harker (aerodynamics & performance engineer), Nora Schillinger (hardware engineer), Tanda Kabanda (software engineer) and QE Prize Ambassador Billy Thurston (research assistant).
