Grandview Heights library levy gets strong voter approval

Voters on May 3 approved Issue 1, a six-year renewal of the Grandview Heights Public Library's 4.5-mill operating levy, by a wide margin.

With 5 of 7 precincts reporting, the Grandview Library levy is heading toward easy passage, with 1,317 votes for the measure and 224 votes against the levy.
With 2 of 7 precincts reporting, the Grandview Library levy renewal is passing with 581 votes for and 98 votes against.
First report from Fanklin County Board of Elections shows Grandview Library levy with 157 absentee votes for passage, 23 absentee votes against. Results from votes cast today still to come.
