Dear Southern Baptist family, we have much work to do. As we return to Baptist headquarters (our local churches) for a busy season of ministry, I want to thank you again for your many expressions of prayer and support. As we look ahead, I assure you that it is my intent to lead out of the 7 Pillars of Renewal that I articulated throughout the spring. We are reworking our Baptist renewal website and will have a revised site up and running very soon. We want to provide a mechanism for Baptist people to express their concerns and questions. It is not possible or advisable to try to interact with every comment or question online, but we do care and want to find ways to interact with good faith concerns. We want to hear your ideas and attempt to answer questions that may come our way. The SBC President represents the people. My job is to serve you. We’re already hard at work, so stay tuned for more information to come.

Healthcare violence will never be solved until we admit that healthcare is not a “human right”.
If healthcare is a “right” then you can punch your nurse and they still have to care for you
A nurse named Jessica Wagner has written an open plea to the President to change regulations governing healthcare facilities, as nurses across the country face an increase in assaults from their patients, with current regulations protecting criminals over their caregivers.
From 2018 to 2020, nurses were assaulted in the workplace over 50% more, with the rates continuing to rise since then, with 20 nurses dying each year in a profession that is already severely understaffed, overworked, and reliant on immigrant labor.
Senators Angus King (D-MA) and Cindy Smith (R-MS) have introduced bipartisan legislation to update OSHA, protect nurses, and impose federal penalties for attacks on healthcare workers.

What about the native girls and boys in the host countries who were systematically groomed, gang-raped, beaten, and trafficked for years by organized migrant groups? This was exposed in Rotherham, Rochdale, Oxford, and multiple other UK inquiries. Authorities knew and did nothing for fear of "racism."
What about the victims of stabbings, gang violence, and attempted beheadings by migrants across Europe and in places like Belfast? These were people who showed kindness only to be attacked?
What about the complete absence of justice for those victims while the system bends over backward to protect or excuse the perpetrators?
What about the native citizens who speak out or protest the failures, only to have the justice system come down hard on them with arrests, charges, and two-tier policing, while migrant criminals get leniency or delays?
What about the families who built these countries and can no longer afford to live in their own homes and neighborhoods because governments spend billions on housing, hotels, benefits, and services for third-world immigrants, driving prices through the roof and overwhelming everything for the people already here?
The only "downtrodden" that seem to matter are the immigrants. Our own people, the actual victims of these policies, whose safety, wages, housing, and future were sacrificed, are dismissed as populists or worse.
That's not Christian charity. That's not conservatism. That's ideological blindness that destroys the very nations it claims to care about.

If your response to seeing children burned out of their houses by a mob is different because of their immigration status or ethnicity . . .
You are not acting like a Christian, who embraces the downtrodden.
You are not a conservative with a worldview, you are a populist standing on sand.
