Very inspiring meetings this week between @SECO_StateSec Budliger and her delegation here in Hanoi, to give a strong push to the negotiations of the free trade agreement with Vietnam. Honoured to be received at high level by all the relevant ministries, including MoIT and MoFA.
My first visit to Hanoi included dinners with CEOs of 🇨🇭and 🇻🇳 companies, giving me very useful insight into doing business in Vietnam, the need for an #FTA EFTA-Vietnam and the impact of global geopolitics in the region. A rules‑based, open trading system matters more than ever.
