Yesterday we visited the Mercedes Benz Museum to learn about the history of these beautiful vehicles. A great museum and such an interesting architectural design! #TOPstudytour

Today we visited the Carl Benz Technical School focused on engineering and automotive areas, rode in a Unimog vehicle at the Unimog museum, and toured Konig Metall with an impressive apprenticeship program and history. #TOPstudytour

The last 2 days in Karlsruhe have been a wide variety of experiences. A tour of a decommissioned nuclear research facility at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a visit to an excellent secondary school, and the ZKM center for art and media. #TOPstudytour

Our final 2 days in Mainz were incredible. A visit to Opel training center followed by a Rhein River cruise. Then a visit to a technical school followed by the Gutenberg museum. Tomorrow is off to Karlsruhe. #TOPstudytour

Great start to our STEM study tour in Germany. Day 1 included a tour of the ZDF studio and a guided tour of the city of Mainz including the impressive red sandstone cathedral. #TOPstudytour

4 of our Tech High engineering students participated in the SkillsUSA Maryland state competition last weekend earning a silver and bronze in additive manufacturing and a silver in technical drafting!

First time running through this POE project. Students designed vex systems to replicate behaviors/characteristics of living things. These two models based off an angler fish and Venus fly traps. Nice snail cam usage on the angler fish.

Students from the Academies of Engineering & Biomedical Sciences pitch their capstone projects. Ss were challenged to identify a real world problem and create a prototype design to address the issue. So impressed by the @wcpsmd students’ creative solutions!
