The Radical Franciscan Spirituals were the forefathers and modern equivalent of the Bogus Ordo Synodal Church.
Honestly, the radical Franciscan spirituals have just as good of a claim for Sedevacanism in the 13th and 14th centuries as any radical Traditionalist rejecting Vatican 2 and post-Conciliar Popes has. Nicholas IV endorsed Franciscan poverty, Celestine V gave Spirituals all sorts of privileges, Boniface VIII overturned most of this stuff, Clement V adopted a moderate view between Conventuals and Spirituals, and John XXII completely contradicted Nicholas IV, which of course many people held to be heresy, and Louis IV of Bavaria even tried to depose John for heresy. Same John who preached heresy about the beatific vision before recanting on his deathbed.

Mr. Irrelevant Robert Nobody Baron
There has been a lot of hype in Reformed circles surrounding Robert Baron’s disputation on the formal object of faith and the so called “papal circle”. I will dialogue with @mattjhedges11 on it this weekend and then create some content in response to it. There are 4 works involved here: (1) Baron’s first work, (2) Fr. George Turnbull’s S.J. first response, (3) Baron’s reply, and (4) Fr. Turnbull’s final response.

"Here is what Augustine is saying" means "Here's how my Protestant guys read it" in your case. A big difference indeed.
There is a big difference between these two ways of reading the fathers: 1) “Here is what Augustine is saying” 2) “Here are some scholastic distinctions I can use to show you how I can affirm what Augustine says.” Second is not completely invalid, but the first method is more sure

I’ve been feeling tired over the past few days, so I'll delay publishing my first article, but I'll eventually get better. Feel free to subscribe if you like my work. There’s plenty more good stuff on the way.

Great job. Unfortunately, the dear Father of the Society is sinning against the Synodality. #AllReligionsArePathsToGod
Jesuit priest, Fr. Peter Ryan SJ, visited his brother William, a Fidei Donum priest from Washington, at his missionary parish in Togo, West Africa. During the visit, a delegation from an important family arrived. They had decided to renounce their ancestral idol and asked Fr. William to destroy it. Several neighboring families joined them. The big day began with a Mass, followed by a procession of hundreds of people from the church to the houses. There, holy water and exorcised salt were used. Fr. Peter enthusiastically smashed the idols with a sledgehammer before burning the remains. The faithful sang “Yesu enye dzidula! (Jesus is the victor!). Finally, the pagan shrine was demolished and a large cross was placed in the middle of the rubble. in gloria.tv

If.. the exclusive, infallible possession of divine truth which the Catholic hierarchy claims and so decisively and consistently asserts, is not really entrusted to it by God, then this claim is the worst blasphemy imaginable. (Scheeben, Dogmatics, Book 1.1, Ch. 2, §9, n. 106)

Whenever Gonet is good, it's because of Godoy, whenever he's bad, it's because of the Carmelites.

Jay Dyer (JayDyer) just posted that after 10 years of online theology debates he's stepping away to focus on other topics (geopolitics, lit, satire, parish-level stuff). Thomisticae (Catholic Thomist) posted yesterday claiming "Dyer's career is over" and is now trolling that it happened fast, jokingly crediting himself "Aryan Armed Forces" (meme shitpost). The screenshot is Dyer's announcement. Classic trad Twitter drama.

At least he has good rhetoric with bad arguments. Protestants have neither.
Heschmeyer is a perfect example of how good rhetoric can coexist with poor arguments. I doubt he even knows how the key disputes are properly framed on various theological issues. Perhaps this is why his video on PSA was complete garbage?

Me yesterday: Dyer's career is over. Didn't take more than a day... You're welcome. Aryan Armed Forces send their regards.

So far I've written 20k words (10% of the whole article). Honestly, I might turn it into a short book, it's gonna be so long.
One last article on De Deo Uno which is a total banger and then I'm done with it for good. I'll move to grace, free will and justification as the next topics to cover. All my new articles will be published on Substack.
