Monday was a busy night for BOE members as they also recognized Mary Ellen Jones for her many years of dedicated service supporting special education students. Mary Ellen is retiring at the end of the school year and will be very much missed at MRFES.

TMHS Career Pathways program experienced significant growth
and success during the 2025–2026 school year. 31 seniors earned a total of 38 Career Pathway Certificates and
recognized at End of Year Celebration with pathway stoles to be worn at graduation.

The Orton Gillingham Certification Ceremony was held this week in Ryscavage Auditorium in Thompson Public Schools.
This year the cohort of teachers participating in this intensive professional training to support students with dyslexia are from Brooklyn, Plainfield and Thompson.

TMHS Class of 2026 took their final Senior Walk today through the entire PK-12 campus.
The class paused along the way to take a picture in each school reminding the graduates of their educational journey in Thompson.
