The continuity of the Thunder roster is incredibly rare. Players get swapped out fairly quickly in today's NBA. For example there are 8 Thunder players that have been on the roster 4 years:
SGA, Dort, I.Joe, Wiggins, JWill, JDub, Kenrich, Chet
This will change. I believe it will be a minimum of two, with the most likely option being Dort and Wiggins or Isaiah Joe.
So for us fans, we got to watch these players grow from unexpected 40 win team, to later Champions, to disappointment they didn't repeat.
Sam Presti didn't go all-in on any trade. He allowed young players to become veterans, and it worked out. We have cap restrictions in terms of how much the owner will shell out, and we'll end up having to move on, which will impact the depth.
Having that core together was a wonderful experience, and it will be tough when the actual moves get made.
