It makes you realize how much we lose with today’s overused green-screen blockbusters. We need to go back to shooting on location & using VFX wisely. Imagine bringing this raw, gritty, practical filmmaking to Telugu cinema. No glamor, just dirt, sweat, & pure survival stakes. Tollywood is ready for a masterpiece like this. 🎬🔥

I have always had immense respect for women, both on and off screen, and it was never our intention to objectify or disrespect any female character. If any part of the film has been perceived that way, we respect those sentiments, understand the concerns being raised, and sincerely apologize. After reviewing the feedback, we have decided to make changes to the concerned portions. Cinema grows through its connection with audiences, and as storytellers, we have a responsibility to be mindful of evolving perspectives and sensitivities. I still think about how insane the internet discourse would’ve been if we went into #Peddi completely blind. That climax twist deserved a spoiler-free, collective meltdown in theaters. Instead, some "responsible" media outlets robbed the audience of that magic before a single scene was even shot. Such a massive shame. 💔 #PeddiMovie

What Nonsense 🙄 Core theme of #Magadheera is LOVE vs LUST. You’re ignoring the context and the consequence. The scene isn’t there to normalize that behavior, it’s there to show exactly why that mindset is wrong. The film doesn’t justify it, instead explicitly rejects it. What matters isn’t just what a film depicts, but how it responds to what it depicts. In Magadheera, the villain lusts after the heroine despite knowing she has no interest in him and the story’s ultimate judgment on that is unambiguous: he is defeated and killed for it by the Hero. If a narrative clearly condemns an action and punishes the character responsible for it, arguing that the filmmaker “got away with it” makes little sense. You’re mistaking the portrayal of wrongdoing for an endorsement of it.
