Tigray Action Committee stands in solidarity with women across Tigray protesting against the violence women & girls continue to face.
Safety, accountability & justice, regardless of the perpetrator, should be the basic right for all.
The regional govt must protect its citizens.
Today, we protest the violence against women & girls in #Tigray. We protest the rising of women and girls' abduction, rape & killings, in broad daylight. We demanded justice to be served.
#Justice4TigraysWomenAndGirls
Thousands of Tigrayans took to the streets yesterday demanding to be returned to their homes & for foreign forces out of Tigray. Intl law mandates return & protection of IDPs per #PretoriaAgreement. Ethiopia & intl mediators must honor their commitments.
We compel @SecBlinken to use his power to implement the commitments of the Pretoria Agreement, namely the withdrawal of foreign and non-ENDF forces from Tigray, return of IDPs, and accountability for crimes committed during the #TigrayGenocide.

#WorldRefugeeDay is marred by the destitute living conditions of IDPs across Tigray & Tigrayan refugees in Sudan who have been displaced due to the #TigrayGenocide.
The US government must use their power to uphold the Pretoria Agreement.

Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, we call for the end of gender based violence that continues in Tigray & for justice for all victims of the #TigrayGenocide.
Without justice & accountability, the wounds of war continue to fester.
Today, Tigray Action Committee opened our 5th feeding center, this time in the hard hit region of Abergele where many are starving.
On our first day we fed 100 women & children.
We are able to do this only with your help.

without the extension of the ICHREE mandate, the victims will likely see no accountability or justice.
As the @UNHumanRights council heads to vote this week on whether ICHREE will be extended, we implore them to consider the findings outlined in their own report:
We, along with nearly 200 other international organizations, appeal to the members of @UNHumanRights, to unequivocally support the extension of ICHREE’s mandate.
It’s only with this international process, that the victims of the #TigrayGenocide may see real justice.
The findings from the @UNHumanRights’ most recent ICHREE report “confirmed that Eritrean troops and Amhara militia members continue to commit grave violations in Tigray, including the systematic rape and sexual violence of women and girls.”
These crimes not only continue,
