I believe the transparency conversation should be an open forum. I am open to creating a dialogue outside of conferences, panels & luncheons. I want to hear from linemen, engineers & those who have no interest in utilities.

Transparency allows for an individual asset to communicate its past & present conditions to those who need it most. Climate change is the #1 risk to the utility industry. Utilizing technology to learn about each asset mitigates risk. It reduces the likeihood of asset failure.
When I say transparency - I am referring to ground truth measurements of individual assets. That is learning about weather patterns, topography, and the consistency of maintenance.
Ask yourself - If a utility pole falls and no one is around - does it still make a sound?
