I have always enjoyed reading oral histories (especially @JimMiller's on ESPN, SNL). I've never tried to write/compile a story in that format myself...until now.
Check it out - hope you like it!

There was one HUGE concern coming out of @USMNT loss to Germany in the final exhibition ahead of @FIFAWorldCup opener coming Friday.
That, and three other things we learned:

Gained great experience last year being an in-game host for FBS football games. Looking forward to my next steps toward being a sideline reporter someday and fulfilling my lifelong goal!
I love my job. It's the profession that breaks my heart. So many talented and wonderful people being let go this week. I know social media and TV makes it easy to stay caught up. Reading good writing, though, lets you inside and opens the door to ask, learn and know more.

10 years ago this week, got to attend a taping of @colbertlateshow with @StephenAtHome. Guest list: Jason Sudeikis, Michael Weatherly, Megyn Kelly.
Fun day hanging out in my fav city (to visit) w/ longtime friend/college roommate @gregfairbanks.
The first time we talked, I asked Bill what he was proudest of re: his impact on @MiamiOH_Hockey.
"It’s the association with the players. To be able to bring student-athletes into MU and to watch their growth, that in itself is the single most exciting thing I was able to do."
Miami Athletics is saddened by the passing of Bill Davidge, former hockey coach who had many ties to the department. Our condolences go out to his family, teammates, colleagues and all who knew him. #LoveAndHonormiamiredhawks.com/news/2026/…
"...to be able to get back [for Alumni Wknd] and see guys that you recruited and kinda give them their starts in life- to be able to catch up w/ them/their families, that’s what it’s all about. I’m all about family, and very blessed to be able to be part of the Miami tradition."
This entire bunch has been a part of one of the most successful eras in Miami Athletics history! And they did it with high integrity, strong academics and hard work!! Proud of our amazing student-athletes.

So many details. So many nuances. So much context. You feel like you're there.
Doesn't matter how many thousands of words - you just want to keep reading.
Steve Kerr had nothing left to prove. But at a crossroads in his career, facing down the pains of his past convinced him he had everything left to play for.

Nora Zubillaga has never backed down from a challenge.
That’s why she was willing to leave Azpeitia, Spain to join @MiamiOH_XCTF, why she majored in biochemistry, why she became a runner and why the 1500m school record might be in jeopardy at MACs:
