We organised the Bham MOFluidics Workshop on Monday. It's great to see many colleagues and early-career researchers (ECR) interested in the science and applications of pressurised confined water in Metal-Organic Frameworks (#MOF), across different disciplines and career stages.

@BhamCityCouncil Someone appears to have deliberately sabotaged the tactile spinner on the pedestrian crossing lights on Vincent Drive, nearest Pritchatts Road. It's now a sharp spinning point that will seriously injure anyone who needs it to safely cross the road.

Your reporting tool doesn't have an option for "dangerous tactile spinner", only for one that is not working. I have reported it anyway, reference SLT078660.

This is quite the collection of papers on #MOFs and the @NobelPrize in Chemistry 2025 by @NaturePortfolio, and it was a delight to see our review among the resources on offer.

This week we had the second PhD from the group: Haixia passed his viva on Wednesday. Thank @TimEasun @TanLab2 for examining and Dr Zhong-Nan Wang for chairing the viva. This panel reminds me how interdisciplinary our research is.
