Excellent work by @guardianeco allows you to check combined sewage outfall discharged to your local rivers in 2022 & 2023.
Here's the picture for the Dorset Frome, an important chalk river (and probably the most western in the UK).

14 years of austerity have led us to here. A country whose impoverished kids are too hungry, cold & exhausted to learn. Whose teachers have to feed, clothe & wash them.
Every MP who ever championed such cruel & vindictive policies should be hanging their heads in shame.

One day this week, my wife, an NHS nurse had to spend £75 of her own money on a patient she visited who had no food or heating. Nurses, doctors, teachers etc are all having to replace the welfare safety net the Tories have cynically removed. Cameron’s Big Society.

Child poverty destroys children’s life chances. 40% of the attainment gap is created before they start school. Teachers cannot compensate for hunger, cold, overcrowding. Child poverty on this scale is a deliberate govt. choice and it is shameful. theguardian.com/society/2023…
