This is how it’s done! Congratulations to the hardworking members of @UAW 2093 on their successful strike and tentative agreement! This is the power of organized labor in action.

"30 by 30." That's $30 by 2030. That's what UAW Local 2093 members demanded. And that's what they're going to get. UAW Local 2093 members have always known their own power at American Axle. They recognized that it was their sacrifices 18 years ago that kept this plant alive in Three Rivers, MI, after the Great Recession. And they flexed that power on STRIKE -- to win their fair share of all the success this company's seen in recent years. Congratulations to these brave men and women for lifting up their entire community with this victory!

I'm honored to announce that I am a Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. This Wear Orange Weekend, I stand with the survivors, families, and everyday people who've had enough of gun violence tearing apart our communities. Just like I've fought for working families my entire career, I'll fight for common-sense gun safety policies that protect our kids and make our neighborhoods safer.

I'm honored to announce the endorsement of Jackie Kelly-Smith—a retired UAW member, 22-year precinct delegate, and Chair of the Official Democratic Black Caucus of Macomb County. Jackie has dedicated her life to fighting for working families and ensuring every voice in our community is heard, and her support means the world to me.

Today marks a critical milestone: 60 days until my Primary Election here in MI-10. That's less than two months to knock every door, reach every undecided voter, and flip this seat. I'm running for Congress because Donald Trump and his allies are jacking up costs and attacking our rights. But I can't win this fight alone—I need you with me. Took a much-needed break from the campaign trail tonight to enjoy the start of summer with Imani and our two troublemakers, Duke and Belvedere. 🐾 Quiet moments like this remind me what I'm fighting for: a future where everyone has time to slow down and enjoy time with those they love.

Freedom isn't free—it's defended by brave Americans who answered the call to serve. This Memorial Day, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our democracy and the values we cherish. 🇺🇸

This is a huge win for Macomb County. Selfridge Air National Guard Base is a critical economic driver for our region and the entire state, and this investment is key to protecting thousands of jobs and strengthening our economy for generations to come. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…

A couple of weeks ago, I toured the Pipefitters 636 Training Center—they're training a record number of apprentices, and it's proof that Michigan's future is bright. These workers are building our economy and our communities. It's time to invest in them, strengthen our unions, and bring manufacturing back home where it belongs.

Last night I joined the Warren-Sterling Heights Democratic Club at their annual Leadership Dinner to honor Senator Gary Peters—a true champion for Michigan families. Gary's tireless leadership reminds us what's possible when we fight for working people. Honored to celebrate him, and thanks to everyone who made it such a great night.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom. You made me the man I am today—taught me to stand up for what's right, fight for those who can't fight for themselves, and never back down when it matters most. Thank you for always believing in me. Love you always. ❤️

Trumps reckless actions are making gas prices skyrocket in southeastern Michigan. This is unacceptable. Nobody should have to pay an extra $20, $30, or even $40 at the gas tank for a war the American people didn’t ask for.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Day to all of the educators here in #MI10. Seeing my mom light up talking about her students has shown me what dedication looks like. She didn't just teach, she changed lives, and she's why I believe in public service. Mom, you're my hero. To all of our educators: thank you for shaping our future. 🍎

I'm proud to be endorsed by the Michigan Education Association. As the son of a public school teacher who carried both MEA and AFT cards, I learned early on that public education and the labor movement are the most powerful forces for building a strong middle class. That's why I got in this fight. It's why I served on a school board and became a union-side labor lawyer, and it's why I'm running for Congress. The MEA has been at the center of that fight every step of the way—fighting for our kids, our teachers, and our communities. Proud to stand with them.

Happy May Day. Every right we have: the 40-hour work week, weekends, safe workplaces, and dignified retirements was won by organized labor. As a third generation union member and labor lawyer, I’m proud to stand with working people today and every day. Solidarity forever.

Michigan has experienced the highest increase in gas prices across the nation, and Michiganders are feeling the consequences of it every day. Our working families shouldn’t have to choose between putting gas in their tank or food on the table. We deserve fighters in Congress who put Michiganders first and don't rubber-stamp the President's thoughtless agenda. freep.com/story/news/local/m…

Liam, Belvedere, and I enjoyed the Utica Puppy Parade yesterday afternoon! While Duke decided to sit this one out, he's cheering us on from home and wholeheartedly supports the parade's mission of celebrating Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month.

I was honored to join the Chaldean Chamber and Foundation Annual Award Dinner last night. For generations, the Chaldean community has been essential to Michigan's prosperity and civic engagement. Thank you for the invitation and your continued leadership.

I'm honored to have the backing of IBEW Local 58. Working people need a fighter in Congress who'll battle for good-paying jobs, strong unions, and an economy for everyone—not just billionaires and the well-connected. That's why I'm running, and in Congress I'm ready to deliver.
