I don't have this on both CD and vinyl by accident. Favorite tracks? Kind of all of them. Opening track is obvious, but, Passing The Time, Politician, Born Under A Bad Sign and Deserted Cities Of The Heart are all standouts.
Cream released their third album “Wheels of Fire” on this day in 1968. It would become the world’s first platinum-selling double album.

I know who I will be listening to today. Tightrope and Wall Of Denial are my favorites, but just like everything else he did, there is not one weak track.
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released their fourth studio album “In Step” on this day in 1989. It was Vaughan’s final album with Double Trouble and last to be released in his lifetime.

And it was one hell of a debut. Blew out the doors and windows of the house when I first listened. Title track, Dirty Pool, it completely reset my blues world.
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released their debut studio album “Texas Flood” on this day in 1983. Vaughan wrote six of the album’s ten tracks.

Last night and tonight we have had some incredibly wild storms. Tonight more than last night. We’ve had at least half a dozen tornadoes in northern Illinois, and Indiana has gotten it worse. They used a warning I never heard before- Destructive Severe Tstorm Warning.
