Let’s amend the voting to constituency based, direct election of State President, strengthen treason and corruption laws and reconsider capital punishment for the extreme crimes against the people of SA i.e massacres and widespread abuses & threats against children etc. Thoughts?
Well, @ParliamentofRSA has once again called for public inputs on possible constitutional amendments. For those who may not know, the Constitution itself allows for amendments through Section 74. In other words, the Constitution was designed to be amended where Parliament and the people believe change is necessary. Parliament is currently receiving legal opinions on submissions made during the previous Constitutional Review process, including SACR's submission. We therefore hope Parliament will also provide South Africans with feedback on the outcome of that process and explain how those submissions were considered. As we did before, we the people of South Africa will once again make our voices heard by participating in this process. I will share the submission link and further details soon. Public participation should not end when submissions are sent. Citizens deserve to know what happens next. #Constitution #AccountabilityMatters #parliament

The most influential South African music icon is no more. I’m saddened by the news but comforted by the sound tracks of our culture and history. Enjoyed talking to him. Learned a lot about the evolution of our music from him. RIP Abdullah Ebrahim. Re a leboga 🙏🏽

South Africa, take note. A proudly SA-built platform now connects 22 MILLION verified crime incidents, license plate reads from 13,500 LPR cameras, and device checks across 7 billion phones — one AI intelligence picture. ‘The World Cup is a Cathedral turned into a Shopping Mall’ says Jurgen Klopp. Do you agree? I do.

Powerful message that all patriots must heed. 🇿🇦🇿🇦
When General Dumisani Khumalo stated that nearly 90% of police officers in Gauteng are corrupt, many people reacted with outrage. Today, however, reports are emerging of officers engaging in “side hustles” robbing citizens, conducting kidnappings on behalf of business interests, and even, in some cases, that senior officers have allegedly targeted or harmed competitors of their business associates. Fellow South Africans, we must remain extremely vigilant. No one is truly safe. Even if you believe you are protected because of your political affiliation or connections, history shows that loyalty can shift quickly. We have seen this pattern before. Protecting corrupt individuals today does not guarantee your own safety tomorrow .It does not matter which party they belong to ANC, DA, IFP, ActionSA, EFF, or any other. South Africans must stop shielding corrupt politicians and officials. Once they have accumulated their wealth, they often discard or turn against those who defended them.We should instead stand with honest officers like General Khumalo and the dedicated men and women in blue who are actively fighting this corruption. These true public servants are vastly outnumbered by corrupt elements within the force. They rely on us, the public, for support.Let us not allow criminal politicians to divide us or turn us against the honest police officers working to clean up the system. We must also pay close attention to the outcomes of the Madlanga Commission and similar inquiries.

My sense of the Madlanga Commissioners is that they are very smart and street wise. I suspect that they also do not take kindly to ‘bokleva’. I have observed them reminding some of the witnesses about their ‘shortsightedness’. I take your point though
@TimModise Bra Tim, I wonder who can you whisper to to bring to the attention of someone at the Commission that "Firm e wele" actually means "were you paid"!! A young man brought this to my attention on the post. He says Mashaba seemingly succeeded to pool wool over the eyes of the Commissioners on this one.
