Dear Diary…
$500 per vote. That’s what the Israeli lobby spent to beat me, and they still couldn’t do it with factual ads, or even fake ads based on policy. They ran with personal lies and AI videos to convince elderly voters I was sleeping with Ilhan Omar and AOC at the same time.

So Tim Kaine is a Knicks fan now? Whoever runs this account for him is an idiot.
Mr. President—I’ve never said thank you before . . . But now I will . . . Thanks for staying away from Games 1, 2, 4 and 5! You should get an NBA Peace Prize!

If he’d hired Elon to build his high-speed rail project, it would have been finished by now, instead of moldering, unbuilt, as a symbol of government incompetence and waste
Americans are struggling to pay for groceries and gas while Elon Musk becomes a TRILLIONAIRE. When the federal government is for sale, the rich get richer and everyone else gets shafted. The system is rigged.

When Khanna lays it out like this, as though he thinks he’s on the right side of the argument, it makes him sound really stupid. Does anybody trust the government to run these things effectively?
This the basic difference. Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous. Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.

Brad, a 5% tax on Elon's trillion net worth would literally pay for free college and trade school for every American. And with the market's growth, he still would be worth over a trillion dollars! You don't think that's worth it?
Community note
5% of $1.2T is $60b. 8m students in BA/BS programs on average pay over $20k/yr, or ~$160b/yr for BA/BS degrees only. That tax could not cover even half of only US bachelor degree costs for just 1 year, excluding grad, ass., or trade degrees totaling another ~10m students. nces.ed.gov/programs/coe/i… bestcolleges.com/research/colle…

I don’t understand why we have to have jobs and paychecks and everything when we could just trust Elizabeth Warren to give us what we need.

This may be news to younger folks but Mark Warner once successfully ran as the NASCAR candidate with a bluegrass-themed ad that aired only in rural Virginia. Now he’s indistinguishable from Bernie Sanders and AOC. Total phony. Warner bluegrass ad: youtu.be/BchLv9B_Gj8?is=hKO8…
Trump is focused on a UFC match at the White House while his war of choice and rising inflation drive up Americans’ cost of living. Could he be more out of touch?

No successful entrepreneurs allowed in Graham Platner’s world. This appeals to Marxists only.
Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire. Let’s make sure he’s also the last.

BTW the @nytimes app features a quick way to post on Bluesky, which is in itself a political statement. With legacy news outlets, the bias is built into everything.

“Democrats Once Vowed to Stop Oil and Gas. Now They’re Not So Sure.” So Democrats admit they're just going to lie. They just want to pretend to care about affordability for the moment and then they’ll go back to killing the oil and gas industry, banning gas-powered cars and gas-powered leaf blowers.

Elon Musk is about to become a trillionaire If he agreed to pay just 80% of that as a wealth tax to the EU, the EU government could use its efficient operating experience to fund bicycles with solar panels attached to them for over 40 residents of the Netherlands Elon is being selfish by not paying the wealth tax
