Another legend has passed away today ๐
Gene Shalit, the iconic film and book critic known for his decades on NBCโs Today show, has passed away at 100.
With his trademark mustache, bow ties, and sharp wit, Shalit became one of the most recognizable voices in entertainment. Many animation fans also remember him as the voice of Gene Scallop in SpongeBob SquarePants and the inspiration behind several beloved TV parodies.
A century of life. A lifetime of influence.

When Paul had Chimchar. Chimchar could really show any emotion around Paul as Paul wasn't strong on emotional areas. As for with Ash. Ash let Chimchar show his emotions. Love how this reveals Chimchar's true combat abilities.

Like this statement in particular really interests me, if it's not a literal form change it's definitely some kind of higher state of combat.
Combine that with how we've seen a "normal" Blaze under Paul's command vs Roark and there's gotta something more going on with this guy.

Chris Latta, also known as Christopher Collins, was a gifted voice actor and comedian whose sharp delivery, explosive energy, and unmistakable voice helped define some of the most iconic animated characters of the 1980s and early 1990s.
Across animation history, Latta brought a rare intensity to every role he touched.
Some of his most notable roles include:

Back in the day voice actors had the freedom to play things outside of their identity (i.e. black playing Asian, men playing women, women playing cats, etc.) because what mattered was the actor's performance not retarded identity politics.

Just got in my @fans_hobby's replacement for #SkyFlame. He's right next to my broken Sky Flame. I managed to order him from #tfsafari and made a video on them. Vill post soon and will see if I can get my broken one sent back to Fans Hobby for recycling.

With the 10 hour shifts starting once more, it's time to not only cook for my family, but to grill. My daughter loves using the smoker to cook with. She's wanting to learn. So proud of her.
