My Crazy Sister's Predicts the Left's Next Move
You won't like it.
The carbon grift is nearly played out. it survived Global Greening, and it survived the revelation that farmers deliberately release CO2 into their greenhouses to accelerate plant growth with less water, and it survived the return of the Great Barrier Reef bigger than ever, and it survived the resurgence of the polar bears, and it survived the extended tornado and hurricane droughts, and it survived Right-wingers pointing and laughing at anti-nuke climate change zealots.
But it could not survive the world's #1 zero-emission car maker creating DOGE. The Left had to choose: Keep up their climate charade, or attack Elon.
For them, that was no choice at all. Elon outshone them in every way, so they had to hate him and attack his car company, even though that ripped off their global warming mask.
(That was not the prediction.)
Now the Left needs a new excuse to build a tollbooth in front of Western Civilization.
My crazy sister says their new cause will be...
Wait for it....
Microplastics.
I warned you you wouldn't like it.
The rest of this post is from her.
We’ve already seen our first academic paper linking microplastics to climate change. (I’m not joking.)
Microplastics is the perfect tollbooth, because plastics are in practically everything, and so they’ll be able to use it to shake down half of the economy, with environmental audits, air quality assessments, emissions studies, “linear no threshold” shenanigans, and so on.
But the problem is, the word “microplastics” is not scary. A tollbooth needs a scary-sounding concept against which it can pose as our courageous defender. (The phrase “climate change” was suitably scary because it contained the word ‘change’.)
So. What will be the terrifying new name for microplastics?
I assure you, they’re already working on one. Word manipulation is how influencers steer our culture in a direction where they can take a cut.
So I will try my hand at their depraved game and see if I can’t beat them to the punch…
“Airborne Plastics”
“Asbestoid Particles”
“Polymeroids”
Anyone got any better ideas? It doesn’t have to be accurate, it just has to be truthy. Bonus points if your submission contains a motte-and-baily, like “asbestoid”.
