Cameron Fontana of WSYX-TV was the Grand Marshall of the Pickerington Labor Day parade today, and I presented him a resolution from the Ohio Senate. I had a chance to meet him and his family—wonderful people!

Delivered testimony today on SB 238, consumer protections against incompetent and unscrupulous home contractors. In the picture I was showing dryer venting material that a bad contractor used to improperly vent a gas water heater—it almost proved deadly for an Ohio family!

I introduced my riot restitution bill today. It will prevent civilian authority from forcing sworn police officers to “stand down” during a riot and provide citizens the right to sue for damages when rioters destroy property.

I introduced Senate Bill 348 with Sen. Kristina Roegner today. It will permit local health boards to reject state Health Dept pandemic orders. It adds docs & nurses and job producers to boards.

Met with Dr. Amy Kabel of the Hank Kabel Sarcoma Foundation today. She is doing great things to bring awareness to canine cancer and help raise funds for research. She presented the office with a signed copy of her book, "Hank, the Miracle Dog." Thanks so much for all you do!
