On Dec 4, 2024, as chair of the P5 mechanism, China convened an expert-level P5 meeting in Dubai, UAE. Representatives from the five nuclear-weapons States (China, France, Russia, the UK and the US) attended the meeting. The parties had a candid discussion on nuclear doctrines.
