My oldest works at Jewel (Albertsons/Safeway), usually I head in to check things out when waiting for his shift to end. The must b sold section had beef chuck short ribs at 30% off, plus his discount. Going to be a smoking Monday.

Too hot for meatballs or fried chicken. Grilled and toasted semolina roll with Salami Calabrese, hot Capocollo, sweet Soppresatta, Proscuitto di Parma, hand made pesto, hand made stracciatella cheese, hand made Calabrian chili aioli, hand made giardiniera pickle relish, arugula dressed with lemon and olive oil salt and pepper, and finished with parmigiano.

Planting day. New this year in the ground we have snap peas, spinach, cauliflower and romain lettuce. Bunch of hot peppers as usual in the pots. Clematis loves their spot, we planted a couple more as well. Enjoy your Memorial day 🇺🇲

Spicy cayenne shrimp, used a lime based marinade for the inner skirt steak, some fresh salsa on the side. Shrimp bowl for me. Have a great week

Had an exam that went about 3 hours today, passed, celebrating with some burgers. Saucing up with a mild, the hot version is extreme @romd004

My wife is hard at work taking over the lamb cake tradition. It was a big deal, and you know this if you've assumed cooking duties from family. Kitchen highlights tonight, the rare showing of Xanthan gum with a rendition of the finished product
