In the period of 2020 to 2022, the company did not give the Parks and Resorts business the budget to develop well-conceived projects plus there was the Lake Nona disaster, forcing a major part of the Imagineering team to leave the company 5/22

Sadly, the service proved to be a very costly endeavor and turned into a financial nightmare. As TWDC kept pouring a lot of money in their streaming business, they took a lot of the profits of the park trying to get a break-even for the service, hurting the parks business 4/22

With the parks being one of the largest generators of revenue for TWDC, Disney knew they had a big problem. Luckily, they just had the most successful launch of a streaming service ever in 2019. With Disney , the company was certain they could offset the losses of the parks 3/22
