what's the downside of having a changelog on your website vs. using software? i'm starting to think having it on your marketing site would probably be better for LLM's and also SEO

One of the perks of being a small biz is shipping fast. IG just added trending music for reels to their API 3 days ago, and it's already live in Pallyy! So good because it's been requested a million times

Also took me 2 years for Pallyy to start making money. Probably only like 0.1% start making money in the first months or even year.

Been too stuck in fixing tech debt, time to get back to shipping awesome time-saving features!
NEW FEATURE: Schedule multiple Instagram Stories. You can now set up and schedule multiple Stories in one go. HOW TO: 1. Create new draft in the calendar 2. Upload/select media from library 3. Click 'Continue to edit' 4. Change Instagram ‘Post Type’ to Story

This is how a website should be: - a single screenshot to see what it looks like - show what it does - how much it costs/is it free? Probably don't need a trillion screenshots showing every little thing you can do, on the homepage.
So proud of this new site. Straightforward, readable, calm. You should go check out everyone else's website in our industry. The usual suspects. Can anyone tell the difference between them? It's like they've been all been sucked into the same black hole and hit their own singularity. No differentiation. Identical messaging. Wild claims of helping you achieve a 24/7 AI work fantasy. Really? There's that much work that needs to happen behind your back while you're sleeping? Since when? And who created that illusion? Agents with creepy masks and emotionless faces? What? The cosplay is something else.

What happens when tech debt from AI written code becomes too much? Or does it just not matter? Does it refactor entire repos and databases? With Pallyy, over the years the debt built up so much that even AI can't untangle it. I'm using AI to help with this of course, but it couldn't do it on it's own. So what happens when the code that AI has written becomes too messy, and you are not a software engineer - how do you get out of that?

haven't been posting here for a while but so many ai replies now is there any way to prevent them?
Been working on SEO again and somehow Pallyy now ranks above Canva and Later for "social media scheduling" (even if it's page 2) 🤯

Careful increasing your prices. Been a slow 12 months at Pallyy. No growth mainly because the price got a bit expensive with yearly price increases. Jan 1st we launched new plans (4 tiered plans) that are MUCH more affordable for larger users, and already seeing growth return!

Canny is forcing me from their free plan to $219/mo 😮 Been using Canny happily for years, but this is more than I pay to host the servers to run Pallyy! Any alternative recommendations?

Try adding a product tour to every important flow in your app. If you can't you need to fix it so you can. Tried adding one to Pallyy's scheduling flow, but it was too hard. Too many steps. So that's up next. Making it simple. Good way to find areas to improve!

Pallyy's churn was 42% in the first year. 6 years later it's <5%. If I didn't listen to feedback and pivot (multiple times) would probably still be 42%.
Replying to @Timb03
What was it in the first year of selling?

Pallyy has NEVER been below 5% churn. And it's not by listening to cancel reasons. Combo of better onboarding activation emails and improvements to the product, particularly around the first actions a user would take.

As your business grows, your price should too (maybe?), however I've messed up a bit I think. Over the last 2 years I've increased Pallyy's price once per year HOWEVER, now it's too expensive for multiple segments of users. So, I'm going to add a limited cheaper plan larger plans that are heavily discounted to cover all use cases. Fingers crossed it works out! (current users will be unaffected or actually get a slight discount)

Managed to get Pallyy's churn down into the 5% range (lowest it's ever been). - added activation emails - improved onboarding flow (added MORE steps) - added in-app product tour - setup onboarding email flows
