We are hugely saddened to hear of the passing of the magnificent Robbie Coltrane who played Hagrid with such kindness, heart and humour in the Harry Potter films. He was a wonderful actor, a friend to all and he will be deeply missed.

Like the mining of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, or the overuse of digital and social media apps, NFTs, or “cyrpto art”, is hugely damaging to our environment. I suggest reading up on how much physical energy a single NFT can consume before you adopt these weird nifties.

So true. Gosh. Kind of the same, but different, for people contacting designers saying only "I want a logo, or "something", designed. How much?" without any context. Like we're just sitting around and can pop stuff from a hat. It's as if some folks think we're all mind readers.

Plsdo not email an agency for representation saying only: “I want more work, get me work” (actual email I received) - having an agent doesn’t guarantee work folks, it helps and it opens you up to a new audience, but we are not just sitting here with a bag of jobs under the desk.
