Say your girl is going to a house party with friends and you’re against it cause you’re familiar with the settings, but she says it’s for her friends and goes anyways.

One prominent Yorùbá proverb is "Ẹni tó mi kùkùté, ara rẹ̀ ló mì." It means whoever tries to shake a tree stump will have themselves shaken instead.
Not all battles are worth fighting. Some "enemies" are decoys that will just waste your time, while some will keep you busy so that the real threat can creep in while you're busy fighting.
The turkey in this video is busy fighting the decoy, thinking it's fighting another male and a competitor. Unknown to him, the real enemy is a human with an arrow, taking a slow breath and waiting for the right moment to shoot.
