Still waiting for some clarification from the city as to what exactly has gone wrong here…I can say the water has receded quite a bit in the last five minutes, but we still don’t know the issue or the potential fix.

Unofficial word is this isn’t connected to the original problem with the main.
Water has been shut off and a few residents are starting to clean up. Bowness Road closure in effect from Safeway to the bridge.
