I started training 3 yrs ago in my college gym. I felt lost and was intimidated by all the men and weights. My relative had a surgery for a broken metatarsal His surgeon’s comment : Eat whatever but don’t eat rice, else you’ll gain weight I generally don’t talk about nutrition & myths around it with my relatives because nobody is receptive to getting their wrong concepts cleared But I laughed in my head seeing him avoid rice & eat icecream & lots of rasmalai I think doctors should hesitate a bit before speaking on nutrition unless they are sure about it People take their word as gospel & do the most illogical nutrition misadventures
